Mark Drummond was brought up in South India and Pakistan.From an early age theatre was a vital means of expression to him. His professional career began aged 10 appearing in Macbeth as Macduff's son. He spent a season with the National Youth Theatre in 'Blood Wedding' before training at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. He worked for a period as a professional actor notably as Toad in 'The Wind in the Willows' before dedicating time to Buddhist practice.
Eventually Mark trained in psychotherapy at the Karuna Institute and has practised some 10 years as a psychotherapist. During some of this time he has worked as a group and individual worker with Ahimsa domestic violence agency in Plymouth and been part of the teaching team at the Karuna Institute.
He is married and has two children. Earthdrum is a return to his creative and spiritual roots.
